We do offer a pick-up and delivery service however, often times we are able to clean area rugs the same day in home with our regular steam cleaning process. When the job requires a more thorough process we can pick up your area rugs and have them cleaned in our area rug cleaning facility and return them fresh, clean, and ready to be enjoyed.
One advantage an area rug has over installed carpet is that we are able to be more intense with our cleaning process. We offer air dusting service, dry encapsulate cleaning, shampoo cleaning, and area rug submersion cleaning.
Some of the factors that play a role in how we treat and clean your area rug would include, but are not limited to:
Air dusting is an extremely effective way at removing dry soils prior to regular cleaning. It is possible for one square foot of carpet to hold up to a pound of dirt. By removing as much of the dirt as possible your area rug will look and perform as close to its original state as possible.
Shampoo Cleaning may be necessary on a delicate natural textile to achieve the best results possible.
Dry encapsulate cleaning is a method that may be employed when traditional cleaning is not possible. An example would be a non-colorfast natural fiber; any moisture applied to that type of rug could result in dye transfer which harms the appearance of the rug.
Area rug submersion cleaning is our most intense cleaning process. In this scenario the area rug is given a bath. When the rug is in the bath it is agitated and scrubbed to ensure the soils are loosened. The bath we place your rug in is like an infinity pool with clean water rushing in from one end and the dirty water flowing out the other. As the soils are loosened the continuous flow of water being removed and replaced by clean fresh water washes away as much of the contaminants as possible.
After the rug has been cleaned under the water it is hung above the bath and thoroughly rinsed. During the rinse if there is evidence of remaining soils that rug will be lowered back into the bath and rewashed. This process is especially effective when faced with urine contamination.
